Hand-Poured Process

Slow storytelling. The art of creating atmosphere, one pour at a time.

The Process

We begin with premium soy wax, sourced for its clean burn and environmental consciousness. Each batch is melted slowly, never rushed. Temperature matters. Timing matters.

Fragrance oils are added at precise moments, when the wax is at the optimal temperature to hold and release the scent. We work with carefully curated blends, each one tested and refined.

Candle materials

Materials

Our vessels are chosen for both aesthetic and functional qualities. Stone, ceramic, and glass. Materials that feel substantial, that age beautifully, that become part of your space.

Wicks are cotton, carefully sized for each vessel. Too large, and you get smoke. Too small, and the flame struggles. We test each combination to ensure optimal performance.

Finishing

Each candle is finished by hand. We trim wicks, inspect surfaces, ensure quality. No candle leaves our studio unless it meets our standards.

This is not mass production. This is craft. This is the slow, intentional creation of objects that are meant to be experienced, not simply consumed.

Our Studio

Located in Auckland, our studio is a space dedicated to the craft of candle making. Here, we work in small batches, allowing us to maintain quality and attention to detail.
